I am a web application engineer in Portland, OR.  I work for Emerge Interactive, in the Pearl District.  I am currently interested in Hibernate, Coldfusion, ExtJS, and Groovy.  If you have any good tutorials and info on those, send it my way.  I love BRUTALY hoppy beer; the more hops the better! I am a avid snowboarder, and always love conquering new mountains and hiking the backcountry.  Wolf Creek, Colo is one of my favs.  I ride mostly at Mt Hood Meadows. Although, i do hit up Mt Bachelor, Mt Hood Skibowl, Timberline, and there is usually a trip to Colorado to hit up the San Juans.  Can't miss out on Telluride, Wolf Creek action. I am also a music fanatic.  I love dark ambient chillout, metal, death metal, hardcore, post punk, post rock, industrial, goth, and some electronic music.  I play guitar everyday.  I cant stand being hot, football, or minivans.. Which is why its probably a good thing i dont live in the south!
